Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We're partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Hudson, NH to hire a detail-oriented Assembler. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, precision work and is seeking long-term stability and growth in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished products following work instructions and technical drawings
  • Build and validate precision electrical, optical, and mechanical assemblies in compliance with procedures
  • Use standardized hand tools and electric equipment for opto-mechanical assembly
  • Perform in-process inspections and basic tests throughout production
  • Enter production and test data into company databases
  • Collaborate with engineers on special builds, prototype assemblies, and experimental projects
  • Prepare completed assemblies for shipment
  • Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow quality control measures to ensure consistent product standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage assigned tools

Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to follow detailed processes and work effectively in a team environment
  • Dependable, motivated, and quality-focused
  • Must meet U.S. Person requirements (ITAR/EAR regulations)

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly (precision assembly preferred)
  • Previous experience in optics - a huge plus
  • Comfortable working with small, detailed components
  • Basic testing or inspection experience a plus
  • Ability to use computers for data entry and basic testing software
  • Willingness to support prototype or special builds
